The Virtual Volunteering Wiki

The Virtual Volunteering Wiki was developed in association with The Last Virtual Volunteering Guidebook.

The purpose of this wiki is to share resources regarding virtual volunteering beyond what is available in the guidebook.

For the most part, only corrections are made to this wiki; information is no longer updated.

The wiki was launched originally in 2013 at http://virtualvolunteering.wikispaces.com. Unfortunately, as of September 2018, Wikispaces was discontinued by its parent company. So the material was relocated here, at www.coyotecommunications.com/vvwiki/

Although this wiki does not allow visitors to directly edit the pages, it maintained its neutral tone in the spirit of a wiki and welcomed contributions from anyone who had information about virtual volunteering. It was updated regularly, at least monthly, particularly the sections on news and research. However, it is no longer updated, just corrected. If you see a section that needs to be corrected, contact me.

If you would like the wiki to continue to be updated, support my work here's how to support this work.

Other Sites Re: Virtual Volunteering

It's impossible to create a comprehensive list of such - just as it would be impossible to make a list of all web sites, blogs and other non-research related to volunteering, in general. This list gives an overview of the different ways various people and organizations are talking about virtual volunteering, especially outside the USA.
