In addition, many more organizations also provide suggestions for Project resources, and feedback about how this Project can be promoted. The Project Team is committed to making the Virtual Volunteering Project collaborative and mutually beneficial.
We have listed approximately 100 agencies involving online volunteers and other collaborating organizations here on our Web site. We no longer include in this list every agency involving online volunteers; rather, we concentrate on agencies that involve volunteers in virtual situations with clients or other volunteers (direct service) and offer management suggestions for other groups; agencies or informal, all-volunteer groups that have provided the Project with information to help other organizations involve online volunteers effectively; and agencies or groups involving online volunteers in unique or innovative ways.
The purpose of this list is to give volunteers and agencies an idea of the variety of online tasks available, and the variety of organizations -- public sector, for-profit, nonprofit, or unaffiliated all-volunteer groups -- involving online volunteers.
You can view these agencies in alphabetical order, by region, or by type of virtual volunteering activity and program mission.
