VIRTUALVOLS

VIRTUALVOLS is an e-mail-based discussion group for online volunteers, sponsored by the Virtual Volunteering Project. It's a place for online volunteers working with any agency to ask questions of other online volunteers, share resources that have been helpful in virtual volunteering activities, etc.

Upon subscribing to VIRTUALVOLS, you will receive a file that explains:

  • how to unsubscribe from this list
  • conduct on this list
  • FAQs about virtual volunteering
  • FAQs about using this list (digest and archive info, etc.)
  • How to post to this list
To subscribe, send e-mail to:
    listproc@lists.cc.utexas.edu
with ONLY this in the body of your message
    subscribe virtualvols FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
(example: subscribe virtualvols Jane Doe)

The list processor (which is a computer, not a person) will reject requests that do not contain a first and last name, or requests with anything else in the body of the message, including a signature. Also, be sure to send this command from the e-mail address to which you want the newsletter sent.
